    Sam is thrilled to make her debut at PNW Fitness as a GRIT coach.  Sam's path to group fitness began in March of 2015, when she was working 60-hour weeks and watching her body composition go south. Had you met her back then, you wouldn't have recognized her - both personally and professionally. She was the girl in the back of the group X class, hoping the teacher wouldn't call attention to her, and not engaging with others. Like so many working professionals, Sam didn't have much time to dedicate the the gym, and she knew things needed to change.  That's when she discovered Les Mills Grit and it literally brought her to her knees, and could fit within her busy schedule. Within three months, Sam dropped 8% of her body fat and doubled her weight loss goals! She was pulled into a supportive community that inspired her each and every class. Group X gave Sam the confidence that she now leads teams of all fitness levels through obstacle course races like Tough Mudder, Spartan, and more when not teaching. Each day of coaching is a blessing, and she is thrilled to inspire and motivate people in their own fitness journey.  Come say hello and share your story. She can't wait to meet you!

    with Ana M.ANA MALVAEZ is USA National BODYCOMBAT TRAINER/ LES MILLS Fitness Instructor. REEBOK Athlete/Ambassador. She has been active in the fitness industry for over 13 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications.  NATIONAL BODYCOMBAT® TRAINER since 2014 and Fitness Instructor for over 12 years. She has been teaching group exercise since her teens and had the opportunity to perform training routines in small and large groups. She is a fitness Instructor for LES MILLS GRIT®, BODYPUMP®, BODYFLOW®,CXWORX®, RPM® and BODYPUMP® THE TRIP®. She also presents BODYCOMBAT® and LES MILLS GRIT®. She holds numerous certifications from ACE, AFAA, SilverSneakers, Gravity and more.Her Goal: Inspire and share her love for fitness with everyone she trains to improve their lifestyle in different levels and find the better version of themselves. 5:15 pm to 5:45 pm

    with Fin

    Fin is one of our Les Mills GRIT coaches.  He has been teaching for almost 2 years and loves the quick and challenging workout that HIIT training provides.  When not in the club teaching he is a Sales & Marketing Manager in the marine industry.  Fin enjoys running outside, cycling, swimming, lifting weights and hanging out with his dogs and friends.  Check out Les Mills GRIT with Fin on Thursdays at 5:15PM.

    with Tom

    Tom is our Group Fitness Manager and has been teaching group fitness for over 5 years.  Tom is certified by Les Mills in 7 Programs and is passionate about the philosophy and science that is put into their workouts.  Tom's fitness story started back in 2010 when he was 380 lbs.  Over two years group fitness, exercise and diet played a huge roll in his weight loss. Now he shares his journey by teaching and loves to help members achieve their goals and find their love of movement no matter the class. When not teaching, you can find Tom spending time with his partner and their two dogs, exploring their city, or out and about trying all the great eateries Seattle has to offer.
