Jenn Jarstad started teaching fitness classes in January 2009. However, Jenn had been teaching much longer then that as a mountain guide on Mt Shasta in 2000. As an avid mountain climber for many years all over the West Coast and abroad, Jenn discovered one of the most magnificent experiences was to assist other climbers in taking on the challenge of a high altitude climb. To see someone discover their physical potential and achieve a goal was such an inspiring and thrilling experience for her and ultimately what lead her to want to help people in the gym as well. Join Jenn on Thursdays at 5:50PM for Cycling or 6:55PM for Bodypump or every other Saturday at 9:15AM for Cycling.
Sina is a certified LesMills BODYPUMP and RPM instructor. He has been teaching group fitness classes since early 2016. In his main career as a Software Engineer, he always felt the need for more physical activities to boost up his energy levels. Inspired by LesMills programs and great instructors, he observed the effect of group exercise in his daily life and he started his journey to become an instructor. He is very passionate about teaching. He is always looking for new ways to provide a better experience for his class members and help them achieve their fitness goals. In his spare time, he loves riding his bicycle or motorcycle, running, and hiking.
Stuart has been teaching fitness for about 3 years, and loves how group fitness has really helped her strength and fitness. She is certified in Les Mills RPM, Bodypump, and recently added CXWORX. When not teaching, Stuart remains very active and loves hiking and hanging out with her dog and friends. Jill is a longtime member and instructor here at Capitol Hill. With many hours behind her practice, Jill’s class philosophy is Yoga’s overarching purpose is to stabilize and clarify the mind. Jill really likes being part of this process to help our members achieve this balance. “It’s like watching a plant grow and I like being part of it.” When not teaching Yoga, Jill enjoys gardening, swimming and staying active in the club. Kimmy T (Kim Talley) hails from NY originally but lived in the Washington DC metro area for two decades before making the great trip west to Seattle 2 short years ago. A former ACE certified personal trainer, boxer, and martial artist, Kim started teaching at a local DC gym back in ’94 when a regular instructor fell ill and threw her the keys to the stereo along with a cassette tape to teach a fitness boxing class. Fast forward to her initial Bodypump training in 2000, and she was off and running with various Les Mills and freestyle programs. She is certified in Les Mills Bodyattack, Bodycombat, CXWORX, Bodypump, and RPM. In addition, Kimmy T loves to compete in kettlebells and spend time with her family (including two dogs). She’s definitely your Coach at the front of the room and is invested in getting you the workout you need through instruction on great form, humor, and encouragement. Fin is one of our Les Mills GRIT coaches. He has been teaching for almost 2 years and loves the quick and challenging workout that HIIT training provides. When not in the club teaching he is a Sales & Marketing Manager in the marine industry. Fin enjoys running outside, cycling, swimming, lifting weights and hanging out with his dogs and friends.
